Sega unveiled the first title in the new series of Creative Assembly, the Total War Saga series. The new title is called Thrones of Britannia and will be launched in April. This is of course a kind of spin-off series for the familiar series Total War, and the new title takes us to the British Isles for a wild and unknown period where the Gauls, Anglo-Saxons and Vikings fight for control. Sega’s and Creative Assembly’s intention is to rely on the success of the Spin-Off series and perhaps to create more games that will honor major conflicts centuries ago, unlike the original series that provides a platform for large and long wars. We also know that the price of the new game will be less than the price of a game in the original Total War series, and this further highlights the approach to the series. Aside from the price and the story, all the other familiar elements of the original Total War series will also appear in Thrones of Britannia, including the familiar game mechanics: Faction Politics, War Fervour and Diplomacy. Keep in mind that Creative Assembly also works on Three Kingdoms, the new title in the original Total War series that takes players for the first time to ancient China. Thrones of Britannia will be available as a digital download, but if you prefer a physical version, there will be a limited physical edition in certain areas with certain sellers. The special edition will of course come with other additions.
In addition, also published system requirements of the game: minimum operating system requirements: Windows 7 64bit processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 3.
